About our electrologists
Our electrologists have all had their experiences with unwanted hair and probably like you, tried almost everything until we made it to the one and only FDA and AMA approved method of permanent hair removal. We have had work on every area of our bodies and can speak from experience how your skin will respond in each area, how it may feel, and generally how much time you can expect on your path toward permanent hair removal and smooth skin.
ElectroYogi designs custom treatment plans and packages for all areas of the body from head to toe. Depending on which areas you're targeting, and what your previous methods of hair removal have been, your hair's coarseness, darkness and strength will vary. Nicole and the ElectroYogi team will work with you to make sure every hair growth cycle is captured and all the hairs in that cycle are destroyed as quickly as possible. You will witness your skin take on a whole new radiance and feel as smooth as a young babe.
At your first appointment, we will sit down and review your health history and you will learn everything you need to know about becoming hair free — permanently. You'll be given detailed counsel on an optimal before and after-care regimen as you go through your treatment plan to ensure the best and most beautiful results. "I've spent my professional career with the singular goal of making a positive contribution to the world. For nearly 15 years, I worked as an award-winning television production professional specializing in documentary, wildlife and children's programming. I also spent time as a product development leader in the early years of the online search and directory space. In 2006, I was blessed to give birth to an amazing daughter who has influenced every aspect of my life for the better. One of the most important changes she brought about professionally was my career transition to becoming an electrologist. When my daughter was an infant, I returned to school, completed the 600 hour training program in electrology, and became a licensed electrologist. Over the past four years we have grown from a tiny operation of just me in a spare private room in my home to a growing practice with two additional electrologists in a private two room suite detached from the property in a tranquil setting. Through many hours of networking and marketing, I've been able to create a business that allows me maximum time with my daughter (instead of the thrilling yet taxing grind of constant travel and very very long hours in the tv production and startup business worlds). I'm also fortunate via this career to continue my goal of helping people by bringing positive self-esteem and esthetics to anyone with unwanted hair anywhere on their bodies. Electrolysis is the only way to permanent hair removal. No other methods before or since electrolysis have ever been deemed permanent by the AMA and FDA, and it's not likely that any future methods (even of the newest dual wavelength lasers) will either. I know this from my own experience having cleared my upper lip of a young girl's Italian-brazilian mustache, random hairs, tummy, bikini, feet, toes, and underarms — when all other methods of hair removal were simply temporary and/or made my problem worse. Prior to becoming an electrologist, Mary worked in her own family business for 29 years, so she is very familiar with what it takes to provide personal, caring, and accountable service to clients. What got her to ElectroYogi is both hopeful and inspiring. In her own words: "In the late 70s and early 80s, to put it mildly I had a facial hair problem in my upper lip and chin. I feel very fortunate to have found out about electrolysis. At first I went twice per week then once a week, and low and behold… the hairs disappeared. In 2007, my husband passed away suddenly and I needed a change from my work of decades. I had started going to ElectroYogi around that time for those ‘middle age’ hairs that came out. Nicole told me about the school for electrology and I thought, "That's it!" I already believed in the process because I knew first hand that it works! In six months I got my California State license and began working with ElectroYogi. We have a wonderful clientele and I love helping each and every one of them become hairless forever."
